Command & Conquer: Red Alert was one my favorite games on the PC and the iOS version is just as fun. There is a free version of the game so you give it a spin before you buy. You can play a campaign or do a “quick” skirmish. When I first downloaded the game, I decided to do a skirmish and found that I am a bit rusty at the game. The goal of the game is to build up an army that withstand any attack and then ultimately destroy your opponent.
You will need to establish a base and then in your base you can build a number of structures that will produce different troops, weapons, and machinery. You will also need to produce the resources to sustain your base.
If you are not familiar with Command & Conquer, then it might take you a while to get used to the controls and units. I did not find the help info that great. In the game you are racing against your opponent so need to be efficient in your building and unit selection. The best way to do this is by playing.
If you enjoy strategy and war games, then I recommend Command & Conquer: Red Alert. There is a map expansion pack available as well as the Empire of the Rising Sun.
