First it was a prized, rare, striped elephant, Baldakhin, now it is their cat Arsenic has been kidnapped. Well the Pilot Brothers are back in Pilot Brothers 2. This new game has just launched on iOS so we have a double review today. If you enjoy point and click adventures, make sure not to miss these games from G5.
The Pilot Brothers, sensible Brother Chief and his not-so-bright assistant, Brother Colleague are detectives in a small Russian town. Your job is to help the brothers move from location to location, finding objects, figuring out puzzles and eventually determining whodunit!
For the first game there are 15 different locations to explore and now you can enjoy evern more in the second hair raising mystery. Now there is no real dialog or directions int he games so you are left to figure out what to do on your own. This what makes the game so fun. There is a small tutorial for both games and if you need some hints, you can hit the ? or the movie projector in the top right corner. (But that is no fun).
The graphics and game play are fantastic in both games. The puzzles really got us thinking; everyone in the family really loves point and click adventures so the whole family got involved! Both games only allow for one player but once you finish a level anyone else can go back to it to play again.
You can download both games for free to try them out and then unlock the full game via an in app purchase. I found both games very enjoyable and fun to play. Unfortunately with these types of games, there is not a lot of replayability, once you have gone through it and know the answers it is not the same.
