Kids story app development firm proud to pledge support to children’s charity by donating all after-tax profits
MIAMI, July 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ — Lazy Bird Inc., developer of interactive apps for kids (available via iTunes & Android), has committed to donate all after tax profits to the Make a Wish Foundation to help support the worthwhile mission of the popular charity.
Proceeds from all sales for the entire month of July 2013, of the popular children’s adventure stories ‘Lazy Bird‘ and ‘Doubting Dasha‘ are pledged in support to the children’s charity.
“To see kids beaming with joy, the delight in their eyes when they enter a magical world of imagination – that makes all the hard work worthwhile. We feel Make a Wish Foundation is a perfect match, and we are proud to help raise money for this incredible organization,” stated Tatyana Mironova, founder.
People interested in taking part in the campaign to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation need only visit the iTunes app store (or Google Play store depending on device) and purchase either the ‘Doubting Dasha’ epic interactive tale, or the ‘Lazy Bird’ narrated adventure.
Additionally, each app provides the opportunity to ‘gift’ to friends and family. Gifted app purchases are also included in the special fundraising campaign and all proceeds will help grant a child’s wish through the foundation.
The narrated children’s app ‘Lazy Bird’, available for only $2.99, an interactive storybook with the voice narration of a 9 year old girl, perfect for kids ages 6-10, helps improve reading skills as kids join the misadventures of Frank, the laziest bird in the flock. Featuring a family friendly message, the tale is sure to delight pre-teens and is available for both mobile phones and iPads.
The second app included in the special offer is ‘Doubting Dasha’ on sale for only $3.99. An original story by Tatyana Mironova, lets kids join the diminutive Dasha as she faces her fears with a heart of gold in a bid to save her village by going where others fear to tread. The epic adventure features numerous interactive games, a magical world filled with unique creatures and characters, and is packed full of interactive elements and hidden easter eggs ideal for kids 6-12.
“Help us make a difference, join us and help us help Make a Wish continue to be able to do the important work it does. Please help us beat our goal of raising $50,000, in July for the charity,” stated Ms. Mironova when asked about the campaign.
