Are you a big lottery player, if so how many do you play? How do you keep up with the games? Lottery Ticket by EdenPod is a successful lottery app in Singapore that is now making its way to the US. I have played a few lotteries over the years but I am not an everyday or weekly player. But if you are a regular lottery participant, (Mega Millions in the US) then an app like Lottery Ticket could be a big help.
The app is setup into three main sections:
Lottery Ticket – is where you can put your lottery ticket numbers. The app is setup to provide automatic results, in the form of push and email notifications.
Number Predictor – is where the app uses historical data to try and predict numbers with the highest probability of winning.
Ticket Analyser – is where the app checks how many times your or lucky numbers have won in the past 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year interval.
The app is free but has a number of different add-ons you can purchase.
Probably my favorite section is the Fortune Cookie. Simply shake your iPhone to break it open. “A single conversation with a wise man is better than 10 years of study.”
Since I am not an everyday lottery player, I decided to reach out to the developer for some more information. Below are the questions I posed.
Q. What does one get with the all-in-one app purchase
A. The All-in-one in app purchase gives the user access to all features of the app along with a year’s subscription of checking results automatically. All features also include our number predictor & ticket analyser features across both – The US Mega Millions Lottery & All Singapore Lotteries.
Q. What future plans do you have for adding other lotteries?
A. We are currently working on providing support for all US State Lotteries in order to make our app the most comprehensive app in the market. We are also looking into the possibility of venturing into Europe for the Euro Millions.
Q. Users still have to keep their tickets correct, so why use this app?
A. The app completely eliminates the effort required on the user’s part to check their results manually once the lottery results are out. We have heard numerous stories about people losing out on big money because of checking against the results incorrectly or forgetting to check the results altogether. It is a form of assurance for the user as the results are checked through our automated system.
