Match those wacky monster before time runs out.
Right now matching games seem to be all the rage. That is not really a bad thing as long as the game is fun. That Monsters Game is a fun, family friendly matching game for iOS. The game just launched and I got my hands on a copy. It is a single player game but if you connect with Facebook, you can challenge and share scores with your friends.
The game comes with three different modes:
Blitz – this is a race against time. You need to match as many monster as you can. To get to the next level you will need to trace 100 monsters.
Challenger – this is where you are given a task and you need to complete it before time runs out. If you finish that one, then you will get another. To get to the next level you will need to complete 10 challenges.
Strategy – this is where you need to clean the board (sort of) You need to try and plan your moves so not to level a monster isolated and cannot be traced. To get to the next level you will need to trace 100 monsters.
These are simple explanations, when you get into the game it will make better sense. To clear the monster, you need to trace a line between them, with a minimum of three monster highlighted.
Now to complicate things, you have 3 lives. If you do not complete a level you lose a life (just like Candy Crush). When you run out of lives, you can purchase more or simply wait. The game comes with a large variety of in-app purchases such as infinite lives, coin doubler, coin, gem, and life packs.
This is a fun game and trust me you will run out of lives early on. Each board is randomly generated so every time you play it is different. Now the last thing I need to mention is that with each level you play you can choose 3 bonus moves, which cost coins to enable. The special moves will definitely help you reach the next levels. Head over to their website, for a listing of all the particulars. Now get out there and match those monsters.
