Upon installation, the app is simple to use. Users create an account and select up to ten contacts who will receive the user’s designated UrgentCall™ number. UrgentCall™ works by giving individuals their very own emergency contact number. If one of their selected contacts calls that number, they are asked if it is an emergency. If they respond with a yes, the silent setting is bypassed and the phone will ring. Even if there is no reception, the receiver will get the emergency call. Regardless of the phone’s ringer setting, the phone will never stop ringing until the recipient answers the call.
