If you are looking for a neat way to create holiday cards this year, give Greeting Cards App – Pro eCards for iOS a try. This universal app allows you to create hundreds of different cards for almost any occasion.
The app is very straight forward and easy to use. I tested the app on my iTouch 5 but it definitely would be better on the larger screen of an iPad mini or iPad. There are not too many negatives to the app, just a a couple things. The app seemed to keep asking me to rate it and then you are limited on how much text you can put on the ecard. Otherwise the app is pretty good.
When you first start it, there is a brief tutorial on how to do things plus there is a link to an online help section. If you log in with Facebook, you will unlock a few more features to the app. The app has cards for birthday, Easter, Christmas and more. Within each section there are quite a few designs to choose from. Once you choose a design, then you can add a personal note to it. You can select the font, color, and style of text.
You can personalize your cards by adding a 30 second song or audio to the card and then you can add the card to a calendar to schedule it. Finally you can share the card via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Email, Text, and iMessage.
The app also has a custom card option where you can add your own image.
Overall this is a nice app with lots of options. The pro version is not that much but there is a free version you can try also.
