Oh no something strange has happened in the forest-the dead animals have arisen! King Zino needs your help to build a reserve to house these strange creatures. So begins Pet Zoometery from G5 Entertainment. This is a very different approach to the standard building type game. For those who love zombies and have a great imagination, this game might just be for you.
If you are familiar with building games, you will be familiar with the general layout and mechanics of this game. You start off with one lion and then work your way up to more and more types of animals such hedgehogs, raccoons, goats, tigers, bats, etc Remember these are all zombies! In addition to adding animals you can add different types of buildings in your zoo. The first building you get is a hatchery, where you create new animals. Once you get a few animals then you will want to spend some time decorating the place and expanding.
You will presented with a through tutorial when you first begin and then after that the game will give you tasks to accomplish. There is a lot to do in the game and it might seem a bit much at first but by going through the tasks it will help you progress. Many items in the game will be locked at first, so you will need to work your way through them.
In addition to creating creatures you can help train them to do tricks to help entertain.
The two types of currency in the game are brains and zomboleons. You will earn these as you complete tasks, etc but you can also purchase them via in-app store. Everything you do will cost something but if you are conservative with your spending, it appears you can go far without having to spend real coins!
The graphics, sounds and game layout are nicely done. You can hide the main menu so you get a great view of your zoometery. This game seems appropriate for most age groups but some little ones might not understand why the cute animals look a bit different. This game is definitely for those that have a great imagination!
