I recently downloaded Rise of War for iOS. It is not a bad game but it is not one that I enjoyed. I must say I was a bit disappointed.
Rise of War is ONLY a multiplayer tower defense type game set in World War I. I enjoy tower defense games but the game did not have any tutorials nor the option to play against the computer.
I did watch the video trailer but when I got into the game, I was a bit disappointed in the graphics. Yes you can pinch to zoom but the units have very little to no detail to them. This lack of detail did not hold my attention. A big point about the game too was that it would not auto rotate on my iPad. So the game was always upside down in my folding iPad case.
If you play tower defense games, you will have no trouble playing the game and if you enjoy playing others online via the Game Center, then again you will not have any problem.

- Continue your mission on a sequence of 9 battles
- 7 Towers and 12 Enemy units
- Hidden powers to bring randomness into game
- In-game selectable features and upgrades
