A simple, yet challenging guess the word game using Instagram images.
I am not good at spelling. LOL Well that is causing a small problem for this new game Pixtaword, thankfully I have kids that can help.
Pixtaword: Picture Word Game from Ninja Bottle is neat guess the word puzzle game that is available for Android and iOS devices This free game takes photos Instagram and put them together into categories.You will be given a series of images on the screen and you need to guess that the word is. Yes spelling counts!
The game is very straight forward. No major or complicated directions, no timers, no challenging friends, no difficulty levels, just you and the images. Rigth now the game has 10 different categories. You can choose which you want to play or do random. There are 100 questions in each category, so there is plenty of game time!
I like the game because it is simple yet challenging. As you guess a word (which I finally did) you earn coins. Now you can also purchase coins (via in-app purchases). You can use the coins to skip an image, remove an incorrect image, or get a hint. Skipping an image can be expensive so if you do not do well on say landscapes, you might want to work in another area, build up coins and then go back to it.
The app does use the Instagram IAP but it is not affiliated with them at all. Overall this is a fun game and I can see it growing. By using images from Instagram, there is almost an endless supply of content and categories.
