If you are a Bible trivia buff and want to play against others online, then Zoe NT Lite might be for you. Zoe NT Lite is one of four apps from the developer James Scarff. (NT stands for New Testament and OT stands for Old Testament).
So how do you play? The game is basically scrabble but instead of using letters you will use numbers. What you will do is place numbers on the board and these numbers will then represent scripture verses. You will then need to guess (from multiple choices) what that particular scripture verse is.
When you first start the game, you will need to register via email or Facebook. Next you will setup a nickname, your country, and add a photo if you want. When you are ready to begin a game you will chose a book of Bible. Next you chose your opponent- play against friends, get a random opponent, or pick someone by username.
You will be presented with a set of number tiles which you will place on the board. So if you chose the book of Matthew and then put down 623, that would translate to Chapter 6, verse 23. The game gives you the ability to chat with your opponent.
Overall the game could use some improvements. The apps does not come with any instructions or tutorials. As a new player I had to go to the App Store to get some basic information on the game. Also I found the text a small on my iTouch 5 screen. While playing you can zoom in some on the board but that too seemed limited.
Finally this is a multi-player game so you will need to find someone you know to play.
This game is a different idea on scrabble and Bible Trivia and if you know you Scripture verses you will probably do very well.
