PlunderNauts is a fun, space pirate combat game. You just got a new ship and it is time to seek your fame and fortune in the stars. There is treasure out there for the taking!
Game play is very straight forward: navigate your ship from planet to planet (on the overall galaxy map) and destroy anyone that stands in your way. The game has two main items, gold and anti-matter. Anti-matter is used to replenish your energy supply. After so many battles you energy will be low- you can wait for it to come back or spend some anti-matter to keep on going. Gold is used to purchase a number of different items such as:
- Weapons upgrade (turrets, fighters, tech-mods)
- Extra crew members with special abilities to help you in your fight
- Special materials
To move your ship around, you will draw a path on the screen in the direction you wish to go. When your ship reaches that spot it will stop, so you will need to draw another path. Remember the enemy is shooting at your so you need to plan accordingly.
The game is pretty straight forward so you or your kids should not have any trouble figuring out the controls and how to upgrade. The graphic and music are very well done and I really enjoy playing the game.
The game does have in app purchases but so far I have been able to earn enough gold in the game to get the upgrades I need. This is a fun game and comes at the traditional space battle at a slightly different angle, which I like.
