A fun match 3 game which awesome graphics- can you figure out what is happening in Atlantis?
Right now matching game are all the rage. Overall I enjoy these types of games as do so many others (thus their popularity) and some do a better job than others. A new matching game I recently discovered for Android was Atlantis Adventure: match 3 from Social Quantum and they have done a good job.
In Atlantis Adventure, you choose one of two characters to be, then you are teleported to another world (Atlantis), where you job is to progress through the levels to help find out what is going on in Atlantis.
Each level of the game is a match-3 puzzle you need to complete to move on. Each level will have different requirements for you. The game will clearly show you what need to get done. As with most match-3 games, there are special power-up you can use.
It appears that there are 6 different kinds of boosters or power-ups you can unlock. As you finish each level you will earn gold coins which can be used to purchase more of them in the shop. So far I have been able to progress without using them.
With each level you complete you will move a step closer to finding out what is going on in the world. Sometimes you will unlock a journal page that describes your journey so far. You can also earn artifacts, which go into your collection.
The graphics and game play are excellent in this game. It plays very well and has plenty of levels (500) to keep you going for a long time. I like how each level has a different goal you need to achieve-definitely adds some variety to the game.
The game also connects to Google Play for achievements. For each level you can earn up to 3 stars and you can go back and redo a level if you want.
If you enjoy match-3 type games then you know what you are getting into with Atlantis Adventure. Overall it is an enjoyable game with beautiful graphics and smooth gameplay and it is a game to play when you have a few minutes to kill.
