Review:
Magic Kitchen is a fun, family friendly match 3 game. If you are familiar with match games, then you will not have any problems picking this one up. My kids had no troubles playing this one and leveled up very quickly.
The game is pretty straight forward; go from level to level and complete the goals provided. In each level you are given a certain number of turns to complete your goals and if you do then you move on, otherwise you need to redo the level. Each level is different so you never know what you will need to do. In this game you are helping a cute little witch and her cat collect the veggies from the garden.
As you progress through the game, you can unlock boosters to help with your vegetable collecting. There is a total of nine different boosters. You will get some but you can purchase more with gold coins via the in-game store. You can purchase gold with real money. So far we have not needed to do this. When playing games like this I challenge myself in not using boosters or helps. 🙂
When you finish an area (group of levels), you will have to face Dr. Yolk! A nice addition to the game is that there are some extra quests you can work on (in addition to the ones to complete a level). The game connects to Google and Facebook so you can see/compete with others online.
Overall this is nice game to play when you have a few minutes here and there. I did experience some glitches in the game in between the levels, which hopefully will be addressed in future updates. I also was a bit confused on what some of the different looking veggies did in a level. If the game could provide some more details that would be helpful.
This is an enjoyable free game, with good graphics and does not bombard with ads.
