Personally I am getting ready for basketball season. I still love baseball but the Mets are not going anywhere so I am getting ready to switch gears.
With that in mind, Backflip Studios just announced that NERF® Hoops, a new flick basketball game, is available now as a free download in the iTunes App Store.
I loved Nerf as a kid so I decided to check this one out. If you have played Paper Toss, then you know what to do. A Nerf ball does not have much weight to it, so you need to keep a careful eye on the wind speed and direction! Also when you miss you will get heckled.
The game has numerous locations you can play in from the Dorm Room (Easy) to Zombie Street (hard) and The Streets (impossible). All locations are unlocked so you can play anywhere. The game also has scores/achievements and you can challenge from via the Game Center.
There is a small ad at the top of the screen throughout the game but that did not seem to interfere with play. This is definitely one of those games where practice makes perfect. This is one of those games which are great to play when you have a couple of minutes to kill. So if you enjoy hoops and getting frustrated, give NERF Hoops a shot (pun intended). 🙂
