Epic Island is an adventure game where players assemble and upgrade a team of five heroes tasked with reclaiming an island. The evil sorcerer Cedric Sparklehands is behind this and your mission is to stop. him.
In the town there is a battle arena, blacksmith, castle, and a boasting hall. It is here you will improve and develop your heroes. All areas are locked, so you will need to play them one at a time until you unlock them all. You can play your heroes in group or have one in the Evil Tree level, while one is in the Dark Forest level.
The game is free but you will need to earn gold and gems to unlock more heroes, weapons, new locations, etc. As you battle you way around the island, you will collect armor and weapons that you can use on your heroes. Because of this the game does allow for quite a bit of customization.
The graphics and gameplay are nicely done. The one thing I did not like about the game is the battle aspect. When your hero enters a battle, you are just a spectator and you have wait unless you want to use gems to speed it up.
