One of our favorite games has been Helidroid from MH Production. Over the last year or so, the game has really grown. Right now there are currently 8 different versions available on the Google Play store. One of my favorites is Helidroid Battle 3D.
Today I am looking at Helidroid 3B, which is “simply” part 2 of Helidroid 3. The new game comes with 18 new levels within the same house and environment. This is a free app, but you can help the developer out and remove the ads for $0.99 USD.
As with the other Helidroid games, there is plenty to do. You start off a nice tutorial to familiarize yourself with the controls and game play. In addition to completing each mission, you will want to try and earn up to 3 stars. At the beginning of each level, you will be told the mission parameters and what you need to do to earn the stars.
I definitely am not going win any prizes for fancy flying but I got the missions done. Forgot the stars too! 🙂 As with the other games, I really enjoy this game and am glad to see more content being added. I would not call this an easy game; it is a game of patience and control. You need to keep an eye on what you doing and stick to the mission at hand.
The game comes with three different controls: Tilt, Real, and Easy. I have tried them all and am not sure which I like the most yet. In addition to the controls, you can setup for left-handed mode, increase the FPS, and skip the instructions.
Did I mention there is a secret room you can find in free flight mode, to unlock a new mission? Unfortunately I have not yet found it. Grrrr.
Overall this is a well designed and very enjoyable game. If you like flight similuators and games where you need to complete tasks vs blowing everything up, you need to play Helidroid 3B.

- Get a car at full speed before it falls into the pool
- Chase the birds that are introduced into your home
- Find your keys in the dark with a searchlight
- Take some water in the bath and go extinguish the candles
- Landing on a moving ship
