The app was recently updated and the new features are:
- Added 6 new search services : Instagram, deviantART, Tumblr.com, Blogger.com, WordPress.com and Pinterest.com
- New vertical layout option for browsing thumbnails from all services. It’s great (and is the default) on iPhone devices.
- New square thumbnail option for those who don’t like the mosaic / masonry grid view of thumbnails. Turn on this option in the picTrove settings screen and all thumbnails show up in an equally sized, square grid.
- The thumbnail browser now tracks your navigation in the full photo view; when you come back from viewing a lot of photos, the last photo you were on is shown centred in thumbnail mode.
From version 2.2 onwards, picTrove 2 pro uses the iOS 8 share action from any app that can share the URL to search the website for photos in picTrove 2 pro. For the first time in iOS 8, Safari opens up browser integrations where apps like picTrove 2 pro can take actions on the website you’re browsing. picTrove 2 pro allows you to search websites or even the actual web page you’re browsing for photos and take further action on found photos like editing it with the bundled Aviary photo editor or saving the photos for later use.
