Bricks Breaker – Friends is a simple twist on an old favorite. If you have been playing video games as long as I have, then you have undoubtedly played brick breaker. In brick breaker, you send a ball up to break the various patterns of bricks. The ball will bounce around and you cannot let it touch the ground.
Now that you know the basics, what is Bricks Breaker -Friends? This game is from JustApps will set you back $2.99 USD but there are no ads and the game is well designed. This game is chuck full of a lot of stuff. My son who played the game for me initially thought it was a bit confusing but after a few minutes of looking around, it is not that bad. If you play it on an iPad, please note that it is only in portrait mode.
You start off with a single Hero, whose head is the bar the ball will bounce off of. 🙂 As you play you can unlock four other champions, with more coming. Each champion has different skills and will cost you green gems. Green gems and coins are the two currencies in the game. You will earn and find these as you play the levels.
In addition to heroes there pets you can unlock. These pets are essentially boosts or items to help you get more coins, lives, higher score and more. These too will cost you green gems so these are items you can build up over time.
When you are ready to start a level, you will have a skill upgrade and/or a booster you can use to help with the level. The booster items are such things as: magnet, fireball, longer bar, special fire weapon, loopers, and more.
So why do you need all of these items? The game is fast paced and there is a ton of things going on. Just like a normal brick breaker, you bounce the ball to break the bricks and when you do, various items, gems, and coins will fall down. You will need to slide around to collect as many as you can. These extra items will help you in that very important task.
The game provides daily prizes and missions so it is worth your while to play each day. Overall this is a good game and the main thing I like about it is there a lot going on and plenty of ways to get new champions, pets, upgrades, and boosts to give you a nice variety in gameplay.
