Block Story
This game is hard to play and not very clear, but looks interesting. The first step is to meet the Wizard for instructions. He will ask how you are and then recommend breaking a block. The landscape is filled with levels that end with giant steps. Approach one using the on-screen joystick or directional pad and try to break a block with a pick ax, which you have to purchase with diamonds. Look up into the sky if the task becomes frustrating. The wispy white clouds and crescent blue moon provide a nice contrast to the beige colored sands that stretch beyond the horizon. If you still haven’t figured out how to break a block by the time it starts raining, you should probably quit the game, which is what I did.

Kritika: The White Knights
This game opens with a nice video intro that features awesome action sequences and fights. Select a character and play through each stage, battling groups of enemies. Your main weapon is a giant sword. The fight takes place on a hilly terrain with an angled, over-the-head perspective. After winning, the game returns to the home screen which is filled with lots and lots of options and features. Explore each one. The various options available to the player provide a change of pace in this fast-paced action RPG.

Legend of Lords
Fight against huge dragons, ugly golems, and battle-ready bears in Legend of Lords. This game features a tutorial that takes you up to level 7. Follow the prompts to progress through the game. After reaching level 7, the tutorial ends and more options become available including private chat messaging, the mall, events, and settings. New buildings also become accessible including the Barracks, City Hall, the Treasury, and the Gold Mine. Acquired Skills make your actions more effective during battles, especially those in the Solo Dungeon. The chat messaging system can be used to communicate with other players.

Soul Hunters
Enter into battle with a team of five in Soul Hunters. As you watch the battle unfold, select the Ultimate character to release their built up powers. This feature helps turn the tide in the battle. If your team loses, build a new one in the Summoner Circle. Afterward, travel through the forest and engage in battle with various groups. Increase each character’s strength by equipping new items and fusing them together. The battles are slow and childish, which gives you time to tap the screen to collect items including treasure chests.

The best role-playing game on this list is Reaper. It features smooth controls during battles and a large, well-designed map of the forest. It also has interesting dialogue between characters and choices which the player can make to direct the course of the game.
