See if you have what it takes to compete in Starific.
Starific is a fun, fast paced, arcade game game for your Android device. You can also play the game online.
The game reminds me of the old brick breaker game, sort of. 🙂  Basically in the game, you need to catch/deflect the star as it bounces around in the game area, which is in the shape of a hexagon.  If the star leaves the play area, you are done. If you would like to see a walk through or a some basics of the game, you can also find those online.
When you first start the game, there is a nicely done tutorial you will go through to show you the basics. The game plays well on both handheld and tablets but it only plays in portrait mode.
There are a ton of options for you to choose from.  You can adjust the grid size, rigor, controls, and the sensitivity of the screen. The game has seventy five different themes you can use. In addition to colors, they provide different types of game play.  Finally there is the Codex section, Here there are bombs. uppers, downers, and rounders.
Now how to do you get these items. This is a free game but if you watch ads, you can earn “money” and then this money can be used to unlock themes, etc. In addition this money, you can unlock items by completing quests too. The game does not have any ads in it, which is great. I do not mind watching a video periodically to earn some in game currency. I wish more games provided this option.
Once you get everything setup, it is time to play. When you begin, you will need to use your finger to glide the bar (slider) around the perimeter of the hexagon to keep the star inside. The star will bounce around and your score is dependent on how long the star stays inside. Sounds easy but it is not. I will not tell you my score but it is pretty bad.
This is definitely a game for those with quick reflexes. The more you play the better you will get – I can attest to that. The game also has four different modes to play, which also need to get unlocked.
So if you are looking to challenge yourself, I suggest you give Starific a try.
