If you enjoy endless runner games and clicker type games, then Part Time Hero:Monster Mayham from Appzil is for you.
The object of the game is to clear wave after wave of monsters. As the primary hero you will be running through the area . Yes you cannot stop.
As you run, you will need to tap the screen to attack the monsters you encounter. You will need to tap quickly to get them all. Yes you need to kill them all or you will be killed. You start the game off with one hero and a sword.
The game is fun but it will tire you out! This is a fast paced game that will need your attention.
As you kill monsters, you will earn coins. You will use the coins to purchase upgrades and items within the game. You can also purchase Rubies (with real money) to help upgrade items faster.
Overall there are 10 chapters with 10 stages and each stage has 10 waves, so there is a lot of game to play.
Now the game has five main sections:
- Part Time – where you can get two different types of game
- Team – where you see your hero and then his weapon and items and upgrade them
- Artifact – items you earn as you progress or clear chapters
- Achieve – finish achievements to earn Rubies
- Shop – you can purchase other items
The game graphics and sound are good. I did not have any problems playing. Now there are a few key points I think players should know regarding the game. These are not terrible things but do effect the game.
-No way to pause the game (so you need to finish the chapter or quit and restart)
-There is a quick tutorial when you initially start but no way to access it again
-Plays in portrait mode only
