Well another baseball season is upon us and with that the folks over at OOTP have put out the 2017 Edition of MLB Manager. If you are a baseball fan and love the details of the game and the management aspect of it, then this is your game.
I played this game before and it is great. Overall it is very well done and provides baseball lovers with plenty of game play. MLB Manager 2017 is available for both Android and iOS for $4.99 USD. With it you get 3 seasons and you can purchase more (individually or in a bundle) via IAPs.
In the game you can choose from three different types of games:
- MLB – use the 2017 MLB roster and season (and official MLB logos)
- MLB Historical Season – replay any season you like
- Fictional League – here you can setup your own league, team, schedules, etc
This is a baseball strategy and management game – no 3rd or 1st person game play here. This is a game for the baseball enthusiast who wants to get involved with the day to day details of running a “major league” ball club.
This is a game that you will need to invest some time into so you can truly savor it. Now if you are pressed for time, there are plenty of shortcuts and speed ups in the game to move things along. I am not sure I can really describe this game, it is a game that you need to experience. So if you are a true baseball fan, then invest the few dollars to try your hand at being a MLB manager.
