Are you big into fashion, do you want to keep up with fashion or see new fashion trends? Do you enjoy social media? Today I am looking at the app Winstag, a new fashion app from the UK. Winstag is a free app for iOS only.
After you download the app you will need to setup an account via Facebook, Instagram, or Google +. After you setup the app, you can set your profile privacy regarding followers, following, and posts.
Right now the app is easy to use and navigate and I found its user interface well done. I was told that the developers are currently working on a new UI, as well as trying to connect with more online retailers. When this happens, users will be able to tag and link to various online retail stores.
The app is built around the feed. The feed can be customized by you. On each post, you can comment, like, and share posts. The feed is built on users uploading photos showing off different fashions. This is a great way to see what is trending or get feedback on your new fashion ideas.
From the developer press release: “The app is considered the best social networking app that can be used and shared among the fashion enthusiasts – particularly those who find the Winstag app useful for other bloggers and stylists who enjoy networking, keeping up with and sharing the latest fashion trends.”
Well, to help build up the app user base, the developer is currently running a contest. The first 50 users who reach the goals (listed below) will be awarded some neat prizes. Please note, all are in British pounds.
