Super School: Educational Kids Games & Rhymes is a new educational app for young kids. It is available for Android devices only. Sometimes learning is no fun but with the advent of mobile technology, parents have a ton more resources at their disposal to help kids learn and grow.
Super School was co-created with early-learning educators with over 22 years of experience. The game/app comes with a seven day trial period so you can try before you buy. There are monthly, six monthly, and yearly subscriptions, all reasonably priced.
The game works on both phone or tablets but I like it on the larger screen – it is easier to see and kids will probably like that better. The graphics and sounds are very done and very kid friendly.
Right now there are over fifty different games and activities that kids are do. When you first turn on the app, you will be presented with numerous different games and activities to choose from. Simply click on the icon and you are ready to start. The app is designed so the kids can pick and choose what they want to do. Some come with the app and others will need to be downloaded to play.
Some of the topics covered are:
- shapes
- alphabet
- numbers
- music
- colors
- addition
- animals
- vowels
- time
- and more.
Overall the activities are bright and cheerful. They talk the kids through, encouraging them when a mistake is made, and then shoot off fireworks when successful. Even as an adult, I found myself having fun and wanting to do more.
Getting kids excited about learning can be hard. Parents today need to take advantage of the technology available to them to help engage and get their kids learning. Super School does a great job presenting a fun and inviting environment where toddlers will have fun and learn something along the way.
There are quite a few educational apps out there right now (to say the least), so I would recommend to try some different ones and see how your kids like them. Super School is a good choice and you can play with it for a whole week before purchasing a subscription. So give it a try and let us know how your kids like it.
